Development of Security Policies, and of the underlying technologies
to support them, in particular:
Public Key Infrastructure. Design and implementation of internal,
enterprise Certification Authorities. Smartcard authentication. Secure
e-mail. File encryption. Secure Wireless networks. Virtual Private
Networks.
Implementation of ISA Server firewall configurations. Client and server
hardening.
Infrastructure
Design and implementation of Active Directory environments, with
particular emphasis on authentication and authorisation, and other
security aspects.
Network protocols.
Scripting
Automation of admin tasks by scripting. Formerly using VBScript, but now based mainly on the new PowerShell environment (which also ties in with PKI since PowerShell scripts require, unless the environment is deliberately configured insecurely, to be digitally signed).
Messaging, Databases and Websites
Although we do not seek contacts directly focused on these areas, these can be covered, (based on Exchange, SQL Server or Oracle, and IIS and ASP,) as subsidiary aspects of a contract whose primary focus is elsewhere.
